Kokoloco strives to provide the best environment for learning to dance and performing in a fun and friendly atmosphere. We focus on body movement, technique and the joy of dance through musical expression.

Kokoloco Dance Studio offers a wide range of adult dance lessons and levels in group, private or workshop environments in our Redhill studio in Canberra. Why not try them all and discover what suits you best. You will love them!

Learn all the Samba no pe fundamentals, body movements, combinations, and choreography, while also learning about the rich culture and music.

This is an open level class with performance opportunities for all students.

Join the fun at Kokoloco and let us introduce you to the amazing world of Salsa dancing! Over the next five weeks learn basic step patterns, turns and fun combinations.

This course price is for two people, yourself and a partner.

SHINES INT/ADV is our new Shines class suitable for intermediate to advanced level dancers with more experience and ready for a higher level challenge!

Classes start with a full body warm up, body movements, styling, footwork, turns and combinations.

This course is choreography based, so we will build on a routine from week to week, working towards performing at our end of term Kokoshow.

There is no pressure to perform, but everyone is welcome to and it's lots of fun and a great goal!

SHINES OPEN is our new Shines class suitable for beginners and dancers new to Shines, but still high energy and challenging for all levels and a great addition to your Latin dance learning.

Classes start with a full body warm up, breakdown of body movements, styling and basic steps and patterns.

This course is choreography based, so we will build on a routine from week to week, working towards performing at our end of term Kokoshow.

Samba Int/Adv is a challenging samba no pe class and performance team, building on strong foundational samba steps, body movement, footwork, styling and choreography.

Dancers will have many performance opportunities and require a commitment and consistency to their classes, training and the art of Samba.

JUNIOR SAMBA

Our junior samba class runs on 10 week school terms, for ages 5 and up.

Canberras only class dedicated to teaching samba for kids, in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Over the course of the term, we train foundations of Brazilian samba, dance fitness and choreography.

We offer performance opportunities for all kids, but no pressure to perform.
